That's why I have put my faith in Luhr Jensen's spoons and plugs season after season. Their Crippled Herring always seems to get those bonus hits that up your catch total, likely due to its erratic wounded baitfish action. The Needlefish is a phenomenal searching lure that has led my boat to some of our best fish. What impresses me most though is the attention to detail in their hardware and plating. These spoons absolutely do not fail - the split rings, clevises and hooks can take an absolute pounding without any issues. And the finishes remain brilliant and fishy for multiple seasons, unlike a lot of other spoons I've run that get chipped and dull quickly.
